Abstract
The paper reviews unpublished ego-documents from the new-opened archive of literary critic F. Levin (manuscripts of memoirs: The Story of My cosmopolitanism (1958), From the memoirs (1962), Autobiography (1966) et cetera). Their genre pecularities and historical significance as an important addition to the history of Soviet Russian literature of the 1920s–1970s are examined.
